The 2014 bottling of Mortlach, aged for 25 years! Matured exclusively in refill American oak casks. Nose: multifaceted, complex. Taste: dominated by dried fruit, almonds, chocolate, delicate tannins and sweet citrus. Aftertaste: long, soft, measured, decorated with juicy nuances of dried fruit, fresh pastries, berry sourness, cream shade, almonds, all sorts of spices, with the delicate influence of oak and a cigar flavor.
